Propagation process domain - the cause of a new blog can not be accessed

Have you ever had periods when new website address you still inaccessible ? when your domain is activated, and you've just finished setting or setting your own custom domain and configure Name Server (NS) or DNS for your CNAME and aName in the new domain you correctly?

I am sure you will be a little disappointed, confused and felt there was nothing wrong with what you did, even you can only blame the provider of domain registration, but if you know in fact it is a natural and normal for a new domain when configured, it can be interpreted website your new address is in the process of propagation domain or other terms also called Pointing or integration or direct.
OOO
I personally had never experienced similar things, had felt confused, panicked and felt something was wrong with what I have done, because after you configured custom domain address of my new blog it still would not be accessed.

After some investigation after searching various references, I just understand that what happened to my website at the time was a process called domain propagation. and it turns propagation process is always the case when we had just finished the SSL configuration settings for the new domain.

So do not be surprised when you access your new domain address that has just finished in the configuration correctly still display the page "This page is Under Construction" or another page that means your blog is in a period of propagation domain.

Know What is domain propagation?

So what exactly is the domain propagation process?

Propagation time it takes a domain name to connect to the server hosting, this process can usually take some time, 3 minutes up to 72 hours (3 days) due to DNS internet  location is not centralized so as to understand the changeover requires a certain time.

Basically when you configured the domain so that the domain address can connect the server hosting your blog, actual domain can be directly air post or redirected to the server hosting your blog, but because of DNS (Domain Name Server) Internet is not centralized, the DNS is not able to determine changes / updates that occur in your domain in a short time, so that when your domain is accessed as if it still displays the old page.

Any Feature Blog Medium Propagation process domain?

Several features of your blog being the propagation process domain one of which is you can not access your blog page, and the page that appears only to see an information like "Managed DNS", "This Page Is Under Construction", or view other similar, one of them like to see below this:
 OOO
This means that when you finished the configuration on your blog domain, and you still can not access the main page of your blog that means your domain is in the process of propagation, to connect to the server hosting your blog.

What caused the old domain propagation?

There are many causes of long- or domain propagation process are as follows:

a. Doing Slow ISP DNS Table Update

One cause of the lengthy process of domain propagation is due to an ISP (internet service provider) has not been an update on their DNS data table so as to each ISP will produce a different page when accessing our domain.
It could be as accessible to your friends in a specific city to your blog can be accessed properly when you access while you are still in place because of the propagation process is different ISPs and update the DNS table is done by every ISP is different.

b. Effect of Age Domain

The influence of age domain can also specify the slow failure of a propagation process, if the domain you are using is the old domain, the general process of pointing or directing will tend to long, whereas if the domain you have is the domain of fresh or domains that were previously not used then the process of pointing will fast.

c. The delay in doing pointing Register Domain

The third is due to the effect of the slow register domain redirect your domain to the server hosting your domain so that both the new and the old domain remains the propagation process will take a long time.

Are There Ways To speed up the process of Propagation Domain?

That, of course, is beyond our control, but there is a quick way to ensure that your domain has been pro posting or directed either at your hosting server, the steps are as follows:

# 1. Get IP Address for Your Domain.

To get the IP address in a domain, you can use the site http://whois.domaintools.com , please go to the site and then type the address of your site, for example, mydomain.com

On the whois record, please find the IP address to see the IP address of your domain, it will look like the image below:
OOO
Please note the IP Address, the example above IP address is: 206.239.32.21

# 2. Open the hosts file on your computer

Please click the button on your windows start menu, then do a search with the following text
wordpad C:windows\system32\drivers\etc\host
Then enter.

Will open WordPad application with a specific article, please add in WordPad on the bottom row format with the IP Address of your domain [space] Your Domain Name, as follows:
206.239.32.21 nameblog.com
as shown in the figure below:
OOO
Do not forget, please save

Once saved please refresh your browser, then try accessing your new domain name, eg namadomain.com, if the setting or domain configuration is correct, you'll be able to access the site existed.

Way above is just one way to make sure that the domain has been directed properly, if already in check, you can delete them back the IP address that you added in the previous.

That article about domain Propagation Process (why the blog can not be accessed), may be useful.
